Leigh-Anne and Ryans Adventures

Osaka, Japan

Monday 23 April 2012

Its been an epic start to Japan! Day one started with meeting Mr Yano on a bike in the street. This guy said to us hello hello, see you tomorrow. We thought we'd never see him again! Turns out he's a cleaner at the hostel we were staying at. "cleaner" being a bit of a loose term, he took us out the next evening on an izakaya crawl. Thats a japanese pub crawl.

Mr Yano began to learn english two years ago when he started his job at the hostel, as a result he tends to over use a few phrases, such as "its okay!" and "OMG".

After five beers and a bottle of sake each we headed to karaoke where mayhem ensued.

Other memorable things;

- Chairs on the jr line in osaka, the backs can be flipped to change the direction your facing (we have had to reconsider how the world works)

- strange things in bread buns, such as peaches and yoghurt.
